“CoreCare” Spinal Decompression FAQs

Who is a candidate for "CoreCare" spinal decompression?

If you struggle with herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis or chronic lower back pain, then you would benefit from “CoreCare” spinal decompression. Book a consultation to find out if you are truly a candidate.

How long does each session take?

Each session typically lasts about 30–45 minutes. Treatment plans usually consist of multiple sessions over a few weeks, depending on your specific condition.

What is “CoreCare” spinal decompression therapy?

CoreCare spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical treatment protocol designed to relieve pressure on the spinal discs. It gently stretches the spine to promote healing of herniated or bulging discs by improving circulation and reducing nerve compression.

Is the treatment painful?

NOTHING??? -

NO, very gentle over time.

No. Most patients find the spinal decompression treatment itself is relaxing—some even fall asleep during the session. You’ll lie comfortably on a padded table while the system gently decompresses your spine. You may experience some mild soreness the next day.

Is “CoreCare” spinal decompression & traction therapy the same?

No. “CoreCare” Spinal decompression is a uniquely designed treatment protocol and is more advanced than standard traction because it uses computer-controlled technology to apply precise, gentle force at specific angles targeting the exact disc causing pain. Unlike traditional traction, the spinal decompression can adjust in real time during treatment—up to 13 times per second—ensuring a more customized and comfortable experience. This dynamic system creates negative pressure in the spine, helping bulging or herniated discs retract naturally paired with your custom structural rehabilitation making it superior to other treatment options.

Why choose “CoreCare” spinal decompression over surgery?

“CoreCare” spinal decompression offers a non-surgical, drug-free option with no recovery time, fewer risks, and lasting relief for many patients. It addresses the root cause of disc pressure rather than masking the symptoms.

Is “CoreCare” spinal decompression safe?

Yes. This spinal decompression protocol has been cleared by the FDA and is widely regarded as a safe, effective, and non-invasive solution for disc-related back pain.

How soon will I feel relief?

Many patients start feeling relief after just a few sessions. However, optimal results are typically seen after completing the full recommended treatment program.

Will my insurance cover “CoreCare” decompression treatments?

No. For that reason we have many payment options available, in order to work with most every patient's financial needs. Remember, Your first appointment with us is only $79 to have a full evaluation and determine if it’s right for you!

What Our Patients Are Saying:

"Last fall my daughter, Nancy, invited me to accompany her to a Wellness Connection workshop. I was extremely impressed with the presentation and the possibilities for improvements they offered for me. After meeting with Dr. Jason and outlining a course of action to work on a better wellbeing, I began my treatments."

Jetta M.

"I began treatment with Dr. Jason in October 2013. Throughout the treatment process he helped me physically, as well as mentally and spiritually. He knew my injury had caused major changes to my active lifestyle and understood the emotional challenges that accompanied it. During each visit he provided the encouragement and support I needed, along with the best treatment plan..."

Risse

"It’s nice to go into a medical office and not feel like you’re being judged. I mean the whole reason you go to a doctor is to get better! Automatically judging a patient doesn’t help anyone start off on the right path to getting healthy. I feel extremely comfortable with all the staff and especially Dr. Jason Hamed. I also now feel like this whole journey is possible and that I’ve finally found the right treatment plan to address my medical issues"

Laura A.

My experience to date at the Wellness Connection has been very positive. The medical staff is top notch professional and the treatment regimen that has been provided to me has proven to be truly effective.

Meet Dr. Jason Hamed

Dr. Jason has always been driven by a desire to understand what makes the body truly healthy. Throughout his education, he sought to uncover the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms.

“Growing up around chiropractic care, I developed an early appreciation for the body’s natural ability to heal itself.” Dr. Jason’s personal experiences with chronic sinus, allergy, and ear challenges led him to question conventional treatments, which often relied on medications and surgeries that failed to resolve the underlying issues.

His experiences reinforced the importance of lifestyle, nutrition, and spinal health in achieving long-term well-being. Dr. Jason believes every decision we make—from the foods we eat to how we move and think—affects our body’s ability to maintain balance and vitality.

Dr. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan College of Chiropractic. Committed to continual learning, he has completed advanced studies in spinal biomechanics, posture correction, whiplash injury management, and non-surgical spinal decompression.

He is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Doctor, helping athletes optimize movement and prevent injuries. Dr. Jason has also earned certifications from the Carrick Institute for Clinical Neuroscience, the Pettibon Institute for Spinal Biomechanics, and the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
